Xcaret is the largest eco-park in Cancun

Xcaret (Mayan for Little Inlet) is 45 miles south of Cancun. It’s a wonderful Eco-archaeological park. It was an important Mayan ceremonial centre for more than 10 centuries and is a park for the eco-minded with a big infusion of Mexican culture. The Park includes some spectacular coastline as well as lagoons, beaches, cenotes, ruins and underground rivers you navigate in a lifejacket. Snorkel through the caverns along the underground river or the crystal clear lagoon.
Xcaret has a replica Mayan village, butterfly pavilion, coral reef aquarium, zoo, botanical garden, wild bird aviary, horseback riding, restaurants, shops, a dolphin enclosure and museum. The night time show Spectacular Mexico, is a series of dancing and music from various regions of Mexico.
